For private events, teams do not simply start whenever they want. The organizer can confirm readiness and release teams in a controlled way, which helps larger groups begin cleanly and keeps the event manageable.

The event setup is designed to show which teams are ready, which devices are connected, and which groups still need attention before the mystery begins.
QR and share-link joining
Players can join their team through a QR code or share link. The captain submits answers while the rest of the team follows the story and investigation on their own devices.

The experience is designed around real city locations. GPS is preferred, but private-event organizers can support manual fallback where needed so a team is not stranded by device or signal problems.
